Customize completion celebrations

Open Settings → Advanced Settings → Animations to decide how Lotti responds when you finish a task, complete a habit, or check off a checklist item.

Visual celebrations have a master switch and separate event switches. Completion haptics remain independent.

Choose where celebrations appear

  • Celebration animations is the master switch for visual flourishes.
  • Habits, Checklist items, and Tasks independently control their visual completion effects.
  • Completion haptics controls the short physical response and remains available even when animations are disabled.

Turning off an animation never reverses the completion itself. If the operating system requests reduced motion, Lotti suppresses the effects while preserving your selected styles for later.

Assign a style to each completion type

Tasks, habits, and checklist items can use different styles. Select a card to preview and apply it.

For each completion type, choose Sparks, Fireworks, Confetti, Embers, or Bubbles. Choose Random for a fresh single style on every completion, or Combine two to layer two randomly selected styles.

Use Try it to preview the current selection without changing real task or habit data.

Tune an individual style

Select the customize action on a fixed style to open its full-screen playground.

Changes save and apply everywhere immediately. Replay the sample after each adjustment.

The available controls depend on the effect and are grouped by Shape, Motion, and Look. Adjust the sliders, then use the highlighted sample or Replay to see the result. Reset to default restores the built-in style; the confirmation offers Undo if the reset was accidental.

Customization is global for that style. It is not attached to the sample task shown in the playground or to one particular real task.
